February is love month or if you attend BCUMC it’s family month! You are sure to discover an incredible selection of love stories, fact and fiction, and a wonderful collection of family movies in the middle section of the Media Center. Stay in with the kids this weekend, pop some corn and make it a family night! And next weekend send the kids to Grandma’s while you discover which one of the “5 Love Languages” your spouse speaks!
Highlighted in our display cabinet for February is a Valentine collection from Barbara Hoyle.
Visit the Media Center and see Barbara Hoyle’s display. Barbara and her husband Ivan live on Hoyle Rd. in Berlin Center. They have 5 children and 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. (Now that’s a lot of love!) Barbara has acted as the President of United Methodist Women, is a VBS & Sunday school teacher, Church Historian and editor for the local Historical Society. Her other interests include antiques, cross-stitch, quilting and cooking…and collecting chickens! Some day she would like to go to Alaska.
Barbara’s favorite Bible verse is … Luke 12:48 “From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.”

Our Media Center is only accepting new and recently published media. If you would like to make a donation of materials please first submit a list to Kathy Cottrill before dropping them off. This will avoid duplication and the need to dispose of unwanted and outdated literature. Please give all financial donations to Pam Campbell.
