Summer Jr. Church -- Invited are all children Kindergarden (age 5) to 4th grade to come and join us for our new Summer Jr. Church program.  The children will sit with their parents for the 1st part of church.  Ron Friend, our Youth Minister, will give a brief children's message and then the children will be dismissed to the Fellowship Hall to view a DVD.  The DVDs we have chosen for June are as follows:
 
June 6th -- What's in the Bible with Buck Denver - DVD #1-Part 1 -- What is the Bible?” How is put together? Kids learn alongside Buck Denver, Sunday School Lady, Brother Louie and the crew that the Bible tells the story of God and what He’s done for us.
 
June 13th -- What's in the Bible with Buck Denver -- DVD #1-Part 2 -- “Who wrote the Bible?” Next, Buck and friends learn how God inspired people to write the Bible. They also learn how the first part of Genesis sets the stage for the rest of the Bible – and all of history!
 
June 20th -- Veggie Tales -- Minnesota Cuke and the Search For Noah's Umbrella -- Minnesota Cuke, a children's museum curator and part-time detective hired to find the famous Noah's Ark.  But his search gets complicated when he learns of Noah's mysterious and powerful umbrella...and a clever villan who wants it for his own selfish gain.  Will Minnesota find the confidenced to continue the search, face the villain and protect the umbrella - or will all hope of finding the Ark be washed away for good?
 
June 27th -- Babystiier in De-Nile -- Miriam doesn't enjoy babysitting her little brother Moses but when she learns that the Egyptians want to take all the baby boys in town, she realizes that she loves him too much to let him go!  As she develops a clever plan to keep him safe, kids will learn a valuable lesson in loving their family!
 
July 4th -- What's in the Bible with Buck Denver -- DVD #2-Part 1 -- “Who chose the books of the Bible?” Buck Denver and friends learn how the Old Testament and New Testament books were chosen to be in the Bible. They also dive into the second part of Genesis to learn how God used a family to launch His big rescue plan!
 
I am very excited to begin this new Jr. Church summer program in the church.  Please bring your children so that they can experience these fun and educational DVDs and learn more about God's promises for us!!
