Hi kids,
          I really enjoyed the memorial holiday this year. I loved watching the veterans receive their flags and to be honored for serving our country.
          Before the offering I thought I was watching the changing of the guards or something. It turned out that the ushers were just confused about where they were to stand during the prayer .It didn't take them long to get everything under control.
          I'm sorry to see the Tuesday morning bible study end for the summer.They always had such wonderful snacks along with their program .They added a new feature as the season came to an end. Costumes. They're studying women of the bible. The first costume to be worn was that of Pilate's wife. Very pretty. Since I enjoy their program so much, I try to help out as much as I can. We're hunting for a large fig leaf. Guess who will be wearing that?
          Get plenty of rest. Bible school is just around the corner. One of my favorite times of the year. The church is full of activity. Hope to see you there.
